Contract Opportunity: We are looking for a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist

Role Description

This contract role is for a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist at Neurology & Sleep Clinic, located on-site in Carrollton, TX. The primary responsibilities include conducting overnight sleep studies, analyzing data for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, and monitoring patients' physiological responses during procedures. The technologist will also ensure the proper functioning of polysomnographic equipment, provide patient education, prepare reports, and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Polysomnography, PAP Titration, MSLT studies and Sleep Disorders
• Proficiency in Sleep Medicine and its applications
• Knowledge and skills in Respiratory Therapy
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) is required
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site clinical setting
• BLS certification is required
• Experience in a similar role is a plus
